GEO5 : Geological Survey

Terrain and subsoil modeling based on geological surveys.

GEO5 programs assess data from geological surveys, create professional data reports and geological models. Data from the geological model can be exported into GEO5 design programs.

Geological survey management and data reporting software

The GEO5 Stratigraphy program is designed for engineering geologists, hydrogeologists, and also for geotechnical engineers and companies providing the geotechnical investigation services. The program enables the creation of borehole logs and reports of various field tests types and the easy construction of geological cross-sections, fences and soil profiles. All data is interconnected in the program and 3D geological model can be created - this becomes the basis for next work of the geotechnical engineer. Resulting data can be directly exported to the GEO5 design programs.

This approach is the basis for BIM building modeling. All data entered and interpreted is still available electronically for all other people involved in the construction process and subsequent management.

Stratigraphy Workflow
The workflow can be divided into three steps. At first, to produce geological data reports from site investigations, then to create geological cross sections and finally to design the 3D subsoil model. Watch the video tutorials.

Stratigraphy Modules

The GEO5 Stratigraphy - Logs module is designed to produce geological data reports from site investigations (boreholes, wells, SPT, CPT, DMT and more). It provides a comprehensive database of pre-defined templates and the ability to create user-defined templates and data reports.

The GEO5 Stratigraphy - Cross Sections module creates easily geological cross-sections without any need for additional CAD programs. Geological interpretation can be done by input of interfaces between layers, faults and connecting of boreholes into the model. Groundwater levels, structures and user descriptions can be added into the cross section drawing.

Other modules are being prepared: terrain modeling, soil foundation interactions, evaluation and processing of laboratory tests and others.
